About this guide

Hudson Valley Antique Guide is a directory of the antique malls, shops, salvage yards, auction houses, flea markets, and shows across the Hudson Valley and the Catskills. It exists because the good stuff is spread across six counties, and most of what you'll find online is either a list of names with no sense of which ones matter, or a roundup of the same five famous stops.

How we choose listings. Listings are chosen editorially, from research into each shop. A business doesn't pay to be listed, and we only publish an address when we've confirmed it on the business's own website. Each listing shows when we last checked. Where a shop has a drawback, like high prices, a cold building, or a strict returns policy, we say so.

How this site makes money. We believe you should know. Some businesses pay for Featured placement, and those listings are always clearly labeled. The site also shows ads from an advertising network. Those are labeled "Advertisement," are kept separate from the listings, and have no say in which shops appear or how we describe them.

Hours change. Antique shops are run by single dealers who close for winter, work by appointment, or change days with the season. Always call ahead before you drive to one specific shop.
